Getting it right
The engineer, Steve Q came on time and in response to my request to examine a leak on the water heater. I was able to explain the nature of the problem when contacting the office prior to his visit and the information was passed on to the engineer who duly arrived with the appropriate parts.
The repair was carried out very efficiently and Steve was very informative regarding what he had discovered during his examination of the water heater. Excellent service, well done Steve!!

Engineer Daniel Claxton visited my property as I was experiencing a lack
of hot water. After changing numerous parts I was still having issues with my boiler. Daniel visited my property a further 5 times, one of the times on his day off during the weekend just so I could have hot water. Eventually, found the issue and resolved the problem. I cant recommend Daniel and Gledhill enough! Dedicated, experienced and refused to give up on what I can admit was a problematic boiler. Highly highly recommend.

Called regarding a problem with a boiler, the representative was efficient and knowledgeable, and a call out was booked in for two days time. Received a call from customer service same day to say they could attend that afternoon if I was available. Engineer arrived on time and now all is good with our boiler. First experience with Gledhill and so far extremely happy.

I had to call out Gledhill Response shortly after moving to a new property due to hot water becoming intermittent and then non-existent. I cannot fault the service I received. Their engineer Kieron quickly diagnosed the issue – simply that the feed and expansion cistern in the loft was bone dry. Poor install years ago and no overflow was fitted – so to avoid potential flooding in the event of a failure the valve had just been isolated (i.e. shut). Kieron refilled the cistern and explained the issue fully to me so I’m now able to resolve the situation myself should it happen again in the future.
People are quick to complain when they get bad service but rarely give praise when they receive excellent service. Not me, Kieron was professional, friendly and informative and I can’t fault the service I received.

Had our Gledhill Boilermate 2000 for 17 years and never skipped a beat. Had to call out Gledhill response this week as we had lost hot water. Turns out it was a blocked pipe from the cold feed in the loft and the engineer went all out to get it cleared and working again.
Absolutely great service from Jerry, and can’t complain about a 17yr old system still going strong.

On arrival the engineer was friendly, helpful, and efficient. He explained clearly what he was going to do, and then got on with it. Covid restrictions were adhered to. On completion he vacuumed the area, shook out our dust sheets and then explained the basic operating requirements of this new boiler. An experienced engineer, and an excellent ambassador for your company

Gledhill Heating system stopped working on New Years day 2021 so we reported it to Gledhill response team. Engineer came out on Sunday 3rd January and found the fault was 2 motorized valves needed replaced. Unfortunately due to the time of the year and the current restrictions in place we had to wait until Thursday 7th January for the engineer to return and replace the faulty parts. It could not have happened at a colder time of the year however the engineers who turned up on both occasions were professional in spotting and resolving the issue. Happy days and glad we took out the Gledhill response contract.

I am a manager at a Firstport development and during this pandemic some of our residents have had to call out an engineer to check their boilers etc. We usually have the same young chap turn up, Andrew. Residents he has been to see to do work for have all complemented the way Andrew is with them and they’ve that they feel safe having Andrew in their apartments to do work, he is very Covid-19 safety aware. I would also like to compliment Andrew as every time he arrives at the development, he already has all his PPE on etc. And is always polite and professional.
Our sincere thanks for sending such a grand person who was both pleasant and very efficient completing all the jobs that needed doing.
